RTTY and PSK 31 are more of a HF modes than VHF modes. There are mods on the internet in how to interface a TNC (terminal node controller) into the radio, but on VHF/UHF you will find more people doing packet radio or the newest thing of APRS (basically tracking and SMS by ham radio)</description>
